We are storytellers.
Learn to tell the story.
the t.
As actors, we choose this journey because we are storytellers, artists, empaths. We do not belong behind a desk or in a cubicle. We cannot and should not be contained.
And yet auditioning can often make us feel as though we are stuck in a box. Especially in the industry's current climate when most auditions are either self-tapes or online.
I'm here to change that.
I take what you already know and guide you toward expanding the boundaries of your audition, strengthening your choices and deepening the connection to your work. We will play and explore, discovering the story and your relationship to it. Then together we will strive to tell that story so your artistic voice can be heard.
my story
After spending six years in conservatory training programs (MFA Yale School of Drama & BFA UC Santa Barbara) and over a decade practicing my craft and continuing training within the business of acting, I love nothing more than sharing that wisdom with other artists. I have a passion for guiding and inspiring actors, helping them reach new depths within their own understanding of a character or scene. Combining my extensive training in the theatre with my detailed knowledge of the complexities of film and television, I am practiced in fine tuning actors' auditions both on stage and in front of the camera. I specialize in voice and speech and have worked with actors and non-actors with dialect management and learning new accents and dialects.
Currently on faculty at Pace University: Acting for Film, Television, Voiceovers & Commercials, I have worked at Circle in the Square Theatre School and Creative House, Manhattan School of Music, Rider University, The Tank, and The Glass Eye Theatre Company.
